Education is the way to success and development in both developed and developing nations. That is the reason why quality education for slum children is particularly necessary.

Without such education, these children are trapped in a cycle of poverty and thus a country cannot reach its development potential.

However, programs started in this regard have not always met with success for a number of factors. The greatest of these have to do with the half-hearted response of parents.

Many of them do not realize the importance of getting their children educated even when it comes free of charge. This forces the organizations in charge of such programs to incorporate motivators such as free lunch into the package.

This has had much better success and most slum children are now able to attend school.

Maintaining quality levels in this education programs is another major challenge. The number of children enrolling for free education at times surpasses the amenities available in schools. This leads to an imbalance for example in the children to teacher ratio.

Research into the conditions in various areas is constantly under way to ensure that the imbalances are corrected and the education program accomplishes its set objectives.

Various Mumbai NGOs are currently conducting such programs in different parts of the country. The benefits will certainly make a difference in the quality of life enjoyed by residents. Learn about what you can do to offer support by visiting the websites that give information about the program.

Education is a right that should be given to all children. It is not merely a privilege that should be given to some. But if we look at reality, to what’s happening today, we can see that due to many things that our world is encountering, not all children can afford to go to school. And children that are located in the slum areas are mostly those who cannot manage to have education because of lack of resources. It is quite a relief that there are still some people and organizations aside from the government that are willing to give quality education for slum children.

Tarang is one of these organizations. It is founded with the objective of supporting and helping people who are being greatly affected by the problems that a country is facing. Tarang’s advocacy is all about extending a hand to those who need it. And slum children that are not studying and are forced to work because of poverty are their priority.

Tarang aims to give every child that is residing in a slum area a good and quality education even so others refer to it as slum education. They want every single child to learn what they are supposed to learn especially the basics like reading, writing and counting.

The said organization has a very great goal and they are in need of help for them to continue what they have started. Each one of us can help them educate and save the lives of many children, not only in India, but in the whole world.
